Fine Arts Chamber Players (FACP) concludes its 33rd Annual Basically Beethoven Festival on July 28 with music featuring string and wind instruments. All concerts are FREE TO THE PUBLIC at the Dallas City Performance Hall in the Dallas Arts District at 2520 Flora Street, Dallas, TX 75201. Doors open at 2:00pm for the 2:30pm pre-concert Rising Star Recital featuring accomplished clarinetist Franklin Jia and pianist Elena Zyl. At 3:00pm, strings of the Hall Ensemble perform Beethoven’s String Quartet, Op. 74 “Harp” with bassoonist Kevin Hall joining the ensemble for music by Piazzolla and Dupuy. No reservations or tickets are required. Parking downtown is available nearby in various city lots for fees from $5-$15. If you are handicapped, we suggest you park in the underground Silver Lexus Parking, approachable via Jack Evans Street just off of Flora. Alternatively, if you have a separate driver, we recommend handicapped patrons be dropped off directly in front of the hall, and then the car be parked elsewhere.
