PROGRAM OVERVIEW

BASICALLY BEETHOVEN FESTIVAL CONCERTS have been held Sunday afternoons in July in the Texas Discovery Gardens in Fair Park since 1981. The 2008 series will take place at the Dallas Arboretum while the Texas Discovery Gardens undergoes renovation. This popular free series features professional classical musicians from the Dallas Symphony, The Dallas Opera, the Fort Worth Symphony, and area university faculties performing inspiring chamber music in the comfort of an indoor, air-conditioned auditorium with a view of the beautiful gardens through the glass walls. These concerts reinforce FACP's focus of bringing professional classical music to those who would not traditionally be able to attend—particularly senior citizens and families with children. FACP’s classical chamber series have a tradition of attracting standing-room-only audiences.
